Description
In this introductory session, essential information about study abroad will be presented. Among discussion points are recent trends in study abroad, varied program models, sample credit transfer practices, transcripting courses taken at foreign institutions, school of record relationships, faculty-led program considerations, and international grade appeals. Attendees will also be introduced to AACRAO study abroad resources, including publications, listservs, and the study abroad committee.
