Description
The session presents results from an IRB-approved survey of graduate faculty at an HBCU research university administered in Fall 2018. The survey asks faculty about resources for graduate advising, advising self-efficacy, graduate student academic, personal, and professional success. Differences between men and women, faculty tenure level, and discipline will be tested for statistical significance. Results have implications for increasing racial diversity in graduate studies.
