SPEEDE TRACK: The Secure Electronic Exchange of PDF Student Transcripts

The fastest growing method of sending postsecondary transcripts is the use of PDF. In this session, the presenter will discuss the decision to use this method, the timeline for implementing, the problems they encountered in the implementation, enhanced security and other benefits over paper and fax, and some volume data since implementation. In addition, hear about the potential you may have in your environment to leverage your Electronic Content Management (ECM) Solution to enable data extraction through OCR for processing into your Student Information System (SIS). There will be opportunities to ask questions and get answers to those burning questions on how to move forward and see what the potential is to make your systems more integrated.

Which one or two theme(s) best describe the presentation? Digital Credentials (SPEEDE, Digital diploma, CLR, badging, OCR, etc) , Enterprise and Technology Systems
