Developing an Enrollment Management Plan That Works
Description
Developing a plan for the how, what, and when of your enrollment management activities is essential to getting it done. Learn how one college created and executed its first enrollment management plan.
Recruitment and retention are the watchwords of the day. Both activities are essential to effective enrollment management year after year. Hear how a mid-sized, suburban community college with a lot of regional higher education competition developed an enrollment management plan that is working. You'll be asked to consider your institution’s resources, staff, and capabilities and participate in a discussion about how to leverage those resources. Session presenters will also highlight effective activities at their institution that have resulted in higher than average enrollment metrics. Come prepared to ask questions, provide feedback, and be engaged in this important topic.
After this session, attendees should:
1) understand the elements of an enrollment management plan,
2) leave with examples of effective recruitment strategies,
3) be able to identify resources and institutional strengths to be employed for enrollment management tasks,
4) leave with activity assessment examples.
