HTML Cam*pains*; how WSU overcame them (and created revenue!)
Description
WSU was experiencing issues on campus with decentralized, high volume html email campaign demands. Staff were often sending unbranded emails that did not carry the message and image WSU wanted to convey. Centralizing efforts caused major workflow issues and high demand on limited staff.
To solve the problem, WSU’s Enrollment Information Technology department built a tool that serves the entire campus community, ensures consistency of branding, standardizes the best visual representation of the university, provides a user-friendly workflow and oversight, and saves a tremendous number of hours.
In this session, we will review WSU’s creative approach to solving a gap in building beautifully branded communications, and how we worked with our Office of Commercialization to create a revenue stream that is reinvested into our technology endeavors that support Enrollment Management.
