Effectively Engaging Academic Administrators in the SEM Planning process
Description
The University of Victoria has just complete its' first SEM Planning process. Recognizing the campus culture, it was important that we develop an integrated communication strategy that ensured effective buy-in and engagement with academic leaders across the institution.
The presentation session will examine:
a. the development of UVIC's communication plan for SEM with academic administrators as a target audience
b. an overview of the implementation of the communications tactics and timelines including an assessment of the overall effectiveness
At the end of the session, it is expected that participants will have a communication plan template that can guide their institution in effectively engaging academic administrators in the SEM planning process.
