Mr. McMillian’s presentation will be an uplifting message about the struggles that he faced in his own life as a student at Michigan State University and Indiana University and how through help and guidance from college administrators and staff he was able to overcome those struggles to chart a path to becoming an accomplished attorney. He hopes to inspire colleges across the country to refocus their efforts on recapturing students that were previously admitted to college but for a variety of reasons may have failed to complete their college education and to create programs that give those students a pathway to return, complete their college journey and earn their degree.
