Hierarchy of Need: Integrating Student Success into an Enrollment Management Model while addressing Access, Equity, and Need
Post pandemic, student success has transformed into a term that encompasses not only academic support, but also a variety of campus and student services that are needed to retain students. These services address financial support, housing and food insecurities while promoting access and equity. This session will explore the importance of imbedding student success into an enrollment management model and the benefits of linking external and community services to support students.
First Learning Outcome: Participants learn why the model of student success has changed Post Pandemic
Second Learning Outcome: Participants will explore data in higher education that connects low retention with food and housing insecurities and a lack of cultural and social safe zones.
Third Learning Outcome: Participants will be provided with a student success services template that can be used at their respective campuses
