A Re-Commitment to Diversity and Inclusion: Cultural Responsiveness for the Sake of Retention

College retention requires a concerted effort of enrollment management professionals. However, there remains a gap in the retention of disadvantaged and minority students. A renewed understanding of the impact of culture on retention is critical. This presentation brings awareness to the impact culture has on retention. Providing key best practices for entry level experts, this session will provide the core competencies that would expand AACRAO’s commitment to diversity and inclusion.
