Teach Me How to Gen Z
Gen Z makes up the largest group of students currently attending colleges and universities, which will continue for the next 6-8 years. As a result, practitioners in higher education must continue to be cognizant of the behaviors, characteristics, and values that Gen Z espouse. This session will examine Gen Z aka iGen or Zoomers and cover the generation's characteristics as well as behavioral trends and implications for practitioners of higher education.
First Learning Outcome: Attendees will have a better understanding of how to help students from Gen Z succeed in higher education.
Second Learning Outcome: Attendees will have a better understanding of how Gen Zers view Higher Education and work.
Third Learning Outcome: Attendees will have a better understanding of the characteristics and values of the Gen Z population.
