WGU’s Achievement Wallet, Skills, and Digital Credentials are Unlocking Pathways to Opportunity
Learners today face unsettling economic realities. In today’s ever-changing workforce, talent is everywhere…opportunity is not. At Western Governors University, we are accelerating efforts in our digital credentialing practice to ensure that every graduate is equipped to thrive and provided the support they need to unlock pathways to opportunity. We will do a live demonstration of the WGU Achievement Wallet.
First Learning Outcome: Understand the Role and Impact of Digital Credentialing: Participants will be able to explain how Western Governors University's digital credentialing efforts, including the Achievement Wallet, are addressing economic disparities and talent recognition in the workforce. They will comprehend how digital credentials serve as a bridge between talent and opportunity, facilitating a more equitable access to career advancements.
Second Learning Outcome: Apply Knowledge of Credential Innovation to Real-World Scenarios: Participants will understand the collaborative process of designing, developing, and deploying innovative digital credentials through the lens of WGU's partnership model.
