Advocacy, Affirmation, and Support: Must-Haves in the BIPOC Community
People of color often find themselves in an advocacy role, for themselves and others. In this session, panelists will discuss their experiences in advocating for themselves, colleagues, and/or students. Session attendees will leave confident that their diverse experiences are valid and will feel more validated to support one another when faced or confronted with power and privilege. A facilitator will take questions and comments from the audience throughout the presentation.
