The Modern Registrar's Office: How We Transform for the Future to Provide Quality Service and Retain Staff based on the Pandemic
This session will provide an overview of how the largest Community College and third largest Public University in Colorado quickly pivoted through the pandemic and how it has permanently changed the Registrar's Office. This transformation impacts delivery of services to students, course selection and class formats, technology decisions as well as addressing staff retention by providing more flexibility, adjusting to staff members remote/hybrid needs, etc.
First Learning Outcome: To understand the evolving staff needs in a Registrar's Office and how to retain staff
Second Learning Outcome: To learn about ways to configure SIS system (Banner, etc) to better communicate course formats to students.
