Policy Development: Best Practices and Case Studies
Learn about steps in policy development including assessing whether a policy is necessary, compliance implications and benefits, stakeholder feedback, and reviewing language and impacts with an equity lens. The presenters will share examples of policy development from their institutions including lessons learned. Recent policy projects highlighted will include make up work for excused absences and FERPA directory information changes.
