Myths & Mysteries of Transfer – How can we better serve students by systematically removing obstacles – real & perceived?
Transfer students are among the most researched and least supported in the postsecondary landscape. Presenters will discuss the myths of transfer and realities about obstacles faced by students and institutional outcomes in supporting students through completion. Better serving this student population will improve attainment across the country and address many of the inequities seen in higher education. The session will conclude with a conversation on suggested solutions across multiple levels.
