Creating a Pathway for Promotion in a Registrar’s Office Using AACRAO’s Professional Proficiencies as a Guide
This session describes how the Registrar’s Office at Thomas Jefferson University created a Pathway for Promotion that managers could use with staff who are looking to develop and potentially be promoted. Using the Records & Academic Services Proficiencies as its core, the leadership team developed a template to have substantive conversations with staff about what they should demonstrate knowing and at what level to be considered for promotion.
