#StopAsianHate, Learn Asian American History
Since the pandemic, violence against Asian American has increased. Though this may seem like a new phenomenon, America has a history of violence and discrimination against Asian Americans going back to the 1800's. This session will highlight some of the historical events/laws and stereotypes, as well as some of the contributions Asian Americans have had to American history. Friends, Allies and Advocates are welcome.

Second Learning Outcome: Understand the historical discrimination and violence against the AAPI community
Third Learning Outcome: Address the damaging stereotypes of Asian Americans.
