This two-day intensive workshop covers the best industry practices of foreign credential evaluation and its application in undergraduate and graduate admission. Experts in the field lead this two-day crash course covering the foundations of foreign credential evaluation, selected educational systems based on the U.S. and British systems, and how to recognize credentials from the top sending countries, with a particular focus on the evaluation of credentials from China and India.
Participants will learn important educational terminology to support communication between prospective students and the institution, best practices in requesting and receiving official foreign documentation, and overall best practices in assessing a student's foreign education. Through detailed hands-on training evaluating authentic foreign credentials in a collaborative environment, attendees will demonstrate the capability of determining credential comparability and admission eligibility.
