EDX 101 will cover the basics of electronic data exchange, including the terminology, a brief history, the types of EDX, how EDX is being used, and some statistics on how institutions are using it. This session will prepare you to get the most out of the other related electronic data exchange sessions offered throughout the conference. The session will highlight benefits and considerations for various exchange methodologies as well as some best practice recommendations for EDI, XML, and PDF student transcript exchange.
