Fostering Tomorrow’s Leaders by Ensuring Equity Today: Learn with PACRAO’s Cohort Development Model.
This half-day pre-conference workshop gives State and Regional leaders an opportunity to learn how PACRAO's Leadership Development Institute (LDI) was developed, the components of the program and how to implement such a program at their State and/or Regional associations. This workshop combines best practices, lessons learned and a practical approach to building leadership pipelines at the State and Regional level, especially for people from diverse backgrounds and representations. Within a generation, a majority of Americans will come from populations that are currently underrepresented in higher education. State and Regional associations can play a key role in shaping every level of membership through thought leadership, professional development opportunities, and the creation of intentional streams of development that actively encourage a broader spectrum of professionals to engage and grow in the profession.
