2020 and 2021 forced administrators to change the way they worked and related to their universities. Two years later, many professionals are burned out, tired of pivoting, working more in unprecedented times, and being asked to give more of themselves when they are already stretched thin. While students have certainly experienced the mental health struggles of remote education and the trauma of the pandemic, much fewer resources have been allocated to the mental health and wellbeing of the administrative professionals helping to support students.
