Description
This session will talk about AACRAO's Competencies in the context of skill building and professional development offerings within the field of Strategic Enrollment Management. The various academic degrees, certificates, endorsements and professional development opportunities will be covered. Attendees will gain a better understanding of how to gain a competitive advantage in the SEM field through accessing these offerings while using these them as a catalyst for professional transformation. For each professional development offering, information about admission eligibility, curriculum, and cost will be shared. Examples of learning outcomes will be discussed, along with how all of these trainings fit into the greater context of the SEM ecosystem of learning. Innovative SEM implementation requires exposure to new ideas that come from these educational programs. The pandemic has caused a disruption to traditional SEM processes and having a formal knowledge base can be critical for rebuilding. The future of higher education and enrollment is dependent on trained enrollment management leaders who can quickly apply the knowledge they've gained to respond.
