Advancing Access and Equity through Financial Aid Procedures
Category
Session
Description
Connecticut’s strategic objectives to increase access and equity for the state’s community colleges led staff to embark on an initiative to standardize financial aid procedural manuals across the state. A significant organizational change for all colleges, we will share the process we used, and the partners we engaged to enact the change. The session will also include examples of how the study of the unintended consequences of policy and procedures decisions can improve outcomes.
