The Sandwich Generation: Caught in the Middle
Category
Session
Description
Finding a work/life balance can be quite challenging. Add to that equation becoming part of the sandwich generation and the scales may tip dramatically. The “Sandwich Generation” is a term started in 1981 by Dorothy Miller to describe a group of adults – typically in their 30s, 40s or 50s- who are caring for aging parents or relatives while still caring for children under the age of 21 and living at home. This session will elaborate on this situation.
