To Badge or Not to Badge: A Micro-Credentialing Conversation
Category
Session
Description
Micro-credentials, badges, and certificates are being explored or implemented at many institutions. These programs promote faculty innovation, and provide students with credentials to share and validate their skills. They have the potential to attract new students, increase student engagement, and promote work force development. However, they can pose challenges to traditional structures, policies and processes. Panelists from schools at various stages of implementation will share their experiences.
