Category
Session
Description
A full quarter-century after David Lanier talked about the long-term technification of the Registrar's Office in his 1995 article, “The Mission of the Registrar Today,” many institutions are still struggling with this transition. This session will look at challenges faced by several institutions in cultivating a more analytical and technically savvy staff (from writing and classifying JDs, to dealing with clerical unions, to recruiting, training, and more), and how they’ve overcome these obstacles.
