Category
Session
Description
This session is a true “how-to” will dive into the proverbial “deep-end” of financial aid leveraging, giving an overview of data critical to use in crafting and designing an effective financial aid leveraging plan. The presenters, authors of AACRAO’s Financial Aid Leveraging, explore the where, when, why, how and to what extent financial aid leveraging programs are critical to enrollment and net revenue growth: growth achieved by crafting a financial aid leveraging program(s) that explores “where” a first or last dollar program would work for an institution. Followed by the “when” is the correct time to move forward with a new or redesigned leveraging program. Exploring the “why” of how a financial aid program can help to grow not only enrollment, but net revenues. The presenters will delve into the “how” to begin to craft a financial aid leveraging program that is right for your institution. Finally, the presenters will ascertain “to what extent,” the scope of a financial aid leveraging program is measured to support an institutions mission and vision by remaining true to what your institution is and/or what its desires to be touching its student population.
