Building Successful Off-Campus Concurrent Enrollment Partnerships
Category
Session
Description
The University of Central Oklahoma has experienced a rise in concurrently enrolled students over the past six years with limited staff and no additional resources. UCO’s concurrent program currently serves five local high schools (both private and public) and offers over 20 sections of university core classes on high schools campuses.
This session will walk you through the steps to engage local high schools with concurrent enrollment by
providing a focus on strategies for creating and sustaining off-campus partnerships. We will discuss how to get the program off the ground, struggles we’ve experienced along the way, and the successes that we have seen.
