Description
It is common for students to question their belonging in new social or academic settings. How often have you heard students question their ability to succeed at college especially first-generation college students and students from low socioeconomic groups. We know that students' beliefs about themselves and their feelings about school can greatly influence their academic performance. Learn how the enrollment management team of BMCC implemented growth mindset theory into their student communications and student service interactions. Walk away with tips and tools on how you might improve the student experience with a growth mindset approach.
