Description
This intensive workshop will cover best industry standards and practices for the determination of transfer credit from foreign higher education institutions and programs, including undergraduate, graduate and short-term study abroad/ exchange programs. Experts in the field will lead a two-day crash course covering the basics of the calculation of transfer credit from top sending countries, and top study abroad destinations. A special focus will be on best-practices when determining transfer credit from India that can be applied throughout the Indian subcontinent. Through detailed hands-on practice on evaluating authentic foreign credentials in a collaborative environment, attendees will demonstrate the capability of determining proper transfer credit from programs abroad. Through built in activities and case studies that utilize authentic academic records, participants in the one and one-half day pre-conference workshop will be provided with hands-on experience in the evaluation of foreign credentials for transfer of credit.
