Description
The process of students transferring from a community college to a four-year institution can be a daunting task. Students can lose valuable time and money if they don’t use the benefits of transfer programs. Transfer initiatives come in many forms, despite their difference, the purpose is to facilitate a smooth transfer experience for students.
Universities come in many sizes. The task to create, maintain and improve on transfer initiatives are equal in effort. This presentation and round table discussion will utilize your own experiences, and that of DePaul University and St. Edward’s University, in showcasing best practices and the collaboration required for a successful transfer program regardless of the size of your institution.
