Description
Term creation and setup is an essential function of most registrar's offices and must be performed accurately in order to ensure that registration, billing, and enrollment reporting processes function correctly. This session will discuss The University of Alabama's procedures with regard to configuring the SIS (Banner) to ensure successful setup. We will also explore additional resources that we utilize that greatly assist with this process, which include Automic (UC4), Argos by Evisions, and even MS Excel! The use of these applications serves to make the overall process easier with far fewer errors associated with copying course sections forward in the term roll process. This session is intended to promote discussion and feedback and thus attendees are encouraged to discuss their own best practices at the conclusion of the presentation for the benefit of those looking for new ideas to implement at their respective institutions.
