Description
This session will look at Ozarks Technical Community College's implementation of a chatBot to assist in providing information to our students in a timely and convenient fashion. Our departmental mailboxes are filled every Monday with many emails sent by our current and prospective students asking questions. We can't staff our desks 24/7 365 days a year. We need an approach to meet the student in their environment where they are most comfortable.
We decided a chatBot could assist us in delivering answers to the basic questions and allow our staff to have more time to dive into the more complicated and complex questions we get as well. It seems to be a win/win. Learn what has happened at OTC after the first 6-months of using a chatBot.
