Rethinking Enrollment Growth: Flexible Programs, Workforce Alignment, and Adult Learner Pathways

How can institutions create new enrollment pathways amid demographic shifts and changing
student expectations? This session explores, from micro and macro perspectives, how
universities are leveraging flexible academic offerings, state workforce alignment, and strategic
reengagement initiatives to expand access and strengthen enrollment. Presenters will share
practical, state-level and institutional-level strategies for overcoming challenges. Attendees will
leave with strategies adaptable to their own campuses.
