  • Transfer (Friendly) with Purpose

Transfer is rarely linear—it is a complex journey shaped by institutional systems and practices. This session explores how California Baptist University developed transfer friendly processes to improve credit mobility, reduce time to decision, and support student success. Participants will examine practical strategies for aligning mission, policy, and practice to create clearer, more consistent transfer pathways.

Learning Outcome 1) Explore how an institutional mission impacts transfer policies and practices to improve credit mobility, reduce time to decision, and support student success

Learning Outcome 2) Engage actionable strategies to improve transfer friendly practices, including process alignment, evaluation consistency, and student support interventions

Learning Outcome 3) Evaluate current and emerging challenges in transfer and learning mobility, and identify opportunities to implement proactive, student centered solutions at their own institutions
