From Statement to Action: Advancing the LEARN Commission Recommendations

The LEARN Commission issued bold recommendations to the field on the future of learning mobility. This session introduces the Commission’s vision, unpacks its implications, and explores strategies for implementation across diverse institutional contexts. Participants will leave with strategies on how to align institutional practice with this national call to action.

Committee Group: Group VII: Workshops & AACRAO Office

First Learning Outcome: Understand the LEARN Commission’s statement and its implications for learning mobility across higher education. 

Second Learning Outcome: Analyze how the recommendations apply to institutional policies and practices across multiple contexts (two-year, four-year, public, private, system-level).

Third Learning Outcome: Identify concrete steps for aligning institutional practice with the Commission’s call to action.
