Inside One of the Nation’s Largest High School Dual Enrollment Programs: Strategies, Challenges, and Successes

Weber State University serves over 18,000 high school dual enrollment students across 70+ schools with 470+ instructors. This session explores how we sustain one of the nation’s largest programs through strategic structure, staffing, admissions and registrar integration, partnerships, and advising. We will share lessons learned, challenges, and successes while also providing a roadmap for institutions building or scaling dual enrollment programs.

Committee Group: Group I: Admissions and Enrollment Management

First Learning Outcome: Analyze the structure and components of a large-scale high school dual enrollment program. 

Second Learning Outcome: Evaluate how admissions, registrar functions, advising, and student services can be effectively integrated into dual enrollment operations.
