Optimizing Financial Aid Strategies via an Evolutionary Algorithm
With limited budgets and growing pressure to meet enrollment and revenue goals, optimizing financial aid is more important than ever. This session will explore how evolutionary algorithms, such as genetic algorithms, can be applied to strategically allocate institutional aid. We'll cover the theoretical foundations, walk through a general modeling framework, and highlight how this approach can support more effective, data-informed financial aid strategies.
