Tuition as Talent Strategy: A Case Study of UMSL’s Employer-Sponsored Enrollment Model with Public and Private Sector Partners
This session explores the University of Missouri–St. Louis’ innovative Employer Education Partnership Model, a tuition-funded approach that aligns workforce development with degree completion. Through a multiple case study of a large technology firm and a local government agency, we examine how tailored enrollment strategies, shared investment, and mission alignment drive access, retention, and regional impact. Attendees will gain insight into building sustainable partnerships that meet both institutional and employer goals.
