Nominations and Elections Committee Position Statement


Over the last 7 years, I have been involved in state, regional, and national ACRAO. Serving as a member of the formation team for CAPACRAO in 2011 as well as the Vice President for Admissions & Enrollment Management and Secretary, I played an integral role in building the rules and regulations of the election process for the organization. In MSACROA, I have served as a member of the programs committee and this year serve as the Exhibitors Chair under the Local Arrangements Committee. I currently serve as a member of the Nominations and Elections Committee. At the national level, I was recently awarded (2018) the Emerging Leader Award with, showing promise as a young leader within the organization. My years of experience, attendance at several annual meetings, volunteerism in presenting and working annual meetings, as well as understanding the regulations involved in building a successful slate of candidates for the board make me an ideal candidate for the Nominations and Elections Committee.
