I am excited about the opportunity to hopefully serve as a member of the Nominations and Elections Committee for AACRAO. The integration of young and new professionals to this well-established organization is essential to AACRAO's future. I look forward to identifying candidates who are committed to professional development, the recognition of excellence in practice and furthering the vision of AACRAO for the next generation.

My 13-year career in Student Services has afforded me the opportunity to work at both public and private institutions. Starting my career as a Registrar Staff Assistant, provided the excellent foundations of student service under the tutelage of a dynamic leader and Registrar. As the industry spotlight shined not only on admissions, but also on retention and graduation, I was afforded the opportunity to experience the transition of a stand-alone registrar, admissions, and financial aid office morph into an enrollment services department that included a one-stop center. Learning a bit of everything fueled my desire to be more active so I threw my name in the hat to become the MACRAO newsletter editor and maintained that E-board position for 6 years. Now as the Director for Records and Registration at a "young" medical school in the Midwest, I am looking to get more involved in this amazing organization to help attract and develop a slate of leadership candidates that will continue to propel AACRAO forward.
