Nominations and Elections Committee Position Statement


It is an extreme privilege to serve as University Registrar at Oklahoma State University (OSU). I have twelve years of experience in the OSU Office of the Registrar and have been active in the Oklahoma Association of Collegiate Registrars and Admissions Officers (OACRAO), serving on the Executive Committee in several roles from 2009-2015, including Vice President of Professional Development, President Elect, President, Past President, and Treasurer. I served on the AACRAO State and Regional Relations Committee from 2011-2015, serving as Vice Chair from 2002-2013 and Chair from January 2014-January 2015, and I joined the AACRAO Information Systems committee in July 2018.

If selected, I hope to serve AACRAO in a new capacity to ensure the membership is presented with a qualified, diverse and balanced slate of nominees for open positions, to promote the nominations and voting process, and to fulfill additional responsibilities related to the planning and preparation of AACRAO nominations and elections.

  • I facilitated the State and Regional Officers Workshop in March 2014 at the AACRAO Annual Meeting in Denver and in December 2014 at the AACRAO Leadership Meeting in DC
  • From August 2012 until December 2013, I was Vice Chair of the AACRAO State and Regional Relations Committee
  • I was a presenter at the State and Regional Officers Workshop in December 2012 and December 2013 at the AACRAO Leadership meeting in DC, and in April 2013 at the AACRAO Annual Meeting in San Francisco, CA
  • From April 2011 until July 2012, I served as a member of the AACRAO State and Regional Relations Committee
