Restructuring the Registrar's Office to Support Institutional Change
Bethel University is undergoing a restructure to a One Bethel Model where programs will be grouped and housed according to academic discipline rather than by modality and degree level. In order for the Registrar’s Office to support students, faculty, and staff under this new structure, a major restructure of the office positions and division of tasks was needed. This session will share the many lessons learned and best practices related to going through such a restructure.
First Learning Outcome: The audience will obtain strategies that can be applied to office restructures or other change management projects
Second Learning Outcome: The audience will understand how building trust is a key component in change management and especially in an office restructure
Third Learning Outcome: The audience will understand the steps involved and complexity of implementing an office restructure.
