First Gen Forward: Crafting a Comprehensive Program for First-Generation Student Success

This presentation will provide an overview of the steps taken in joining the First Scholars network with the Center for First-Generation Student Success and starting a university-wide focus on first-gen student success at Tennessee Tech University. Session participants will hear from the presenters about leveraging existing recruitment programs to better attract, retain, and graduate first-generation students.
