Supporting International Students' Decision-Making Through Pre-Admission Advising

This session aims to explore the role of pre-admission advising in helping international students through the decision-making process when considering pursuing higher education abroad. The complexities of studying in a foreign country require careful planning & informed decisions. This session will emphasize the significance of pre-admission advising and provide insights into best practices, strategies, & resources that empower prospective international students to make well-informed choices.

First Learning Outcome: Participants will learn effective techniques to guide prospective international students in exploring suitable educational opportunities, aligning their academic goals with program offerings, and understanding diverse admission requirements. 

Second Learning Outcome: The session will highlight a range of resources and tools that facilitate comprehensive pre-admission advising.
