In a post-SAT world — as a more diverse cohort of int'l students (from more types of schools) apply to more universities — it is essential for globally-minded higher ed institutions to meet these aspiring students where they are.
We will explore innovative approaches & best practices for recognizing a more inclusive spectrum of academic qualifications to enhance your strategic enrollment processes.
First Learning Outcome: Share & discuss approaches, methodologies, findings, and results to enable recognition of a variety of international academic credentials used within local contexts.
Second Learning Outcome: Develop equivalency/ credit & placement policies recognizing international academic credentials (especially those used in local school settings).
Third Learning Outcome: Apply best practices to other local/ regional credentials to support a more nuanced review by higher ed admissions teams, putting the academic records of international students in context.
