Mobility and Accessibility: What We Are Learning from Existing Efforts
There is a global trend toward equitable and accessible pathways to meaningful credentials and recognition of non-traditional learning. This is evidenced by increased interest from funders, a proliferation of providers, and public pressure to decrease costs and increase higher education ROI. We examine tools, projects and initiatives that are effecting large-scale change in education, gaps in this work, and discuss a promising model to support continued programs: a qualifications framework.
