Changes Ahead: IPEDS Additions to Admissions Survey
NCES has proposed numerous changes to the Admissions survey component to be collected in 2024-25 and 2025-26, which will be shared in the session along with a brief review of existing reporting and trends seen through an examination of IPEDS data.
First Learning Outcome: Participants will be aware of who must submit data to IPEDS, what data must currently be submitted, when data are available, and how the data are used.
Second Learning Outcome: Participants will be able to describe and provide feedback on the upcoming proposed changes to the IPEDS data collection on Admissions.
Third Learning Outcome: Participants will know where they can find tools to explore IPEDS data related to the Admissions (and other) survey Components.
