This half-day workshop will focus on: 1) What institutions can and cannot do after the decision in SFFA v. Harvard and University of North Carolina in order to "define their missions as they see fit.” 2) AACRAO’s Holistic/Equity Admissions Methodology; Effectively Applying Non-cognitive Variables. 3) Case studies will be presented of institutions that have effectively and successfully employed the application of noncognitive variables within their admissions process resulting in increased student access, equity, and improved outcomes for their students.
