Tuition revenue can make up to 95% of institution's operating budget. Enrollment managers are tasked with accurately predicting this expected revenue. The divisions of enrollment management and finance at Oklahoma City University developed a process to predict revenue within 1% accuracy for the budget year head. The process is also used to examine 3 years into the future to determine any modifications, including new academic programming, the institution will need to achieve revenue goals.
